PORTABLE ISOLATOR FOR TRANSPORTATION IN SEATED POSITION

Portable isolator is a mobile device intended for transportation of patients requiring isolation from external environment.
Portable isolator has two operating modes: the positive pressure mode for isolation of immunocompromised patients from external environment and the negative pressure mode for protection of other people from a patient infected with dangerous infections.
Portable isolator has a shape that repeats the contour of a person in a seated position which allows to minimize external dimensions and to transport a patient in confined spaces (elevators, narrow corridors,
staircases, walkways, etc.).
It can be used with standard wheelchairs thus transportation may be done even by one health worker. It is compatible with chairs equipped with additional stair-climbing chassis.
